Owned and operated by Robby Lavoie, Northern Screams Attractions is northern Ontario's premiere haunted attractions business and a member of the Ontario Association of Agricultural Societies.  

Northern Screams began as a home haunt raising donations for the Edgar Burton Food Drive. In 2009, we opened a new haunt in the Rainbow Centre before moving to the Northern Ontario Railroad Museum and Heritage Centre in 2011 to create the Terror Train 60-77 in Capreol. Throughout the last 10 years the Terror Train helped raise over $150,000 for museum projects and in 2019 was recognized as one of the top 5 must see haunts by Ontario Travel. 

COVID-19 was a challenge for Northern Screams, but also provided new opportunities. In 2020, we created a new drive in attraction called Inferno 60-77 which received national media attention and was  nominated by Sudbury Tourism for the Travel Industry Association of Ontario Tourism Innovation Award for COVID-19 Resiliency. 

The Terror Train came to an end in the summer of 2021, however, the team created a brand new scream park experience in the Greater Sudbury community of Blezard Valley for the Halloween season. 

Northern Screams Attractions builds and supplies props for the horror film industry and provides Halloween decor for local businesses. 

We also build pop-up travelling haunted attractions for fairs and festivals. 

In 2021, Northern Screams Attractions diversified their business  to include pop-up outdoor movie nights and full concession services.
